					<description><![CDATA[Supporting retired police and fire service dogs in London, as well as their handlers.]]></description>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.lrpd.uk/" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.lrpd.uk/">The London Retired Police Dogs Trust</a> is a non-profit organisation dedicated supporting the welfare and needs of retired police and fire service dogs of the Metropolitan police, City of London police and the London Fire Brigade. Once retired, the responsibility of the dog falls to their handler who has an unbreakable bond with the animal. Some retired police dogs are rehomed to an adopted family who again, take on the responsibility of the dog.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation supports the core activities and needs of the London Retired Police Dogs Trust helping them to support the welfare of these dogs, who do not receive a pension after service and incur high medical costs due to the nature of their work and retiring age.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Since 1965, Vaincre la Mucoviscidose has supported patients and their families in every aspect of life disrupted by cystic fibrosis. The association is organized around four key missions: curing tomorrow by supporting and funding research; treating today by improving care quality; living better with cystic fibrosis by enhancing patients’ quality of life; raising public awareness and informing parents and patients.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Through its participation in the 2025 edition of Stream Against Muco – a charity event co-organized by Vaincre La Muco to raise funds for the association – The MAD Foundation financially supports Vaincre la Mucoviscidose in fulfilling its four missions: cure, care, live better, raise awareness and inform.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.acted.org/fr/" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.acted.org/fr/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Acted</a> is a French non-governmental organization founded in 1993, dedicated to development, humanitarian aid, and environmental sustainability. Active in 43 countries, it implements nearly 600 projects each year, assisting more than 27.1 million people. Acted intervenes in emergency situations, rehabilitation, and development contexts, with a mission to support vulnerable populations affected by crises, conflicts, or natural disasters, while promoting inclusive and sustainable growth.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation supports Acted by financing a humanitarian project in Haiti aimed at urgently addressing the needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince. This project seeks to reduce the vulnerability of displaced populations by improving their access to safe drinking water and sanitation, temporarily alleviating the immediate impacts of the ongoing humanitarian and health crisis.</p>

It focuses on rescuing and rehoming cats and dogs, providing low-cost veterinary services, and supporting vulnerable pet owners. Through innovative community outreach programmes, Mayhew promotes responsible pet ownership and addresses issues like pet homelessness. Its mission is to improve the lives of animals and their communities, creating a lasting impact on animal welfare.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation supports Mayhew in its mission to provide preventative veterinary care, including vaccinations and parasite treatments, to pets from low-income families, improving animal health, easing financial pressures on owners, and strengthening the human-animal bond in our communities.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a medical humanitarian organisation that provides medical assistance in 5 areas: war and conflict, epidemics, support for refugees and displaced persons, access to healthcare and natural disasters. Founded in Paris in 1971, MSF is a worldwide movement of nearly 68,000 members, guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation supports MSF in its medical actions in Palestine.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[Supporting families in need]]></description>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.petitvelojaune.be/">Le Petit Vélo Jaune </a>offers support to single parents or families in fragile or precarious situations.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Each year, the association supports 100 families. It provides them with free, consistent, and long-term support within the family environment. This support, which is given in a simple and caring&nbsp; manner, is carried out by &#8220;teammate&#8221; volunteers, carefully selected and supervised by the association.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Based in Brussels, Le Petit Vélo Jaune was awarded the federal prize for the fight against poverty in 2020.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation supports more particularly the &#8220;pregnant mothers&#8221; project, where a volunteer supports the parents&nbsp; before the birth, starting in the last trimester of pregnancy. Each support lasts one year, with one meeting per week on average.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[Participating in the ecological transition through regenerative agriculture ]]></description>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.hectar.co/">HECTAR </a>is a 600-hectare agricultural campus just outside Paris. Composed of an incubator for start-ups and innovators, a pilot farm in regenerative agriculture, and coaching programs, HECTAR also offers coworking spaces, seminars and awareness sessions for young people and companies. HECTAR aims to enhance the value given to our soils and to help farmers by supporting projects that are economically viable, ethical, and sustainable for the planet.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">More specifically, the MAD Foundation supports the <em>Maison Pédagogique</em>, which aims to raise awareness among young people aged 6 to 17 about the respect for biodiversity and our food’s impact on our health and planet. For example, it established in october 2023 a new <em>biodiversity parcours </em>for children and young adults.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[Make animal protection an essential part of our society]]></description>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.sanscollier.be/">Sans Collier</a>, based in Perwez, manages a shelter for found, mistreated or abandoned dogs and cats. It also offers initiatives and actions to raise awareness about animal welfare. The shelter permanently houses and cares for about 300 dogs and cats. Each year, nearly 2,000 animals are rescued and more than a dozen campaigns and awareness-raising actions are carried out to the public.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation is financing a new animal welfare program with&nbsp;the hiring of additional personnel.</p>

The Foundation aspires to further develop entrepreneurship so that it can meet the societal challenges of our time and enable individuals to achieve their ambitions.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The MAD Foundation structurally supports the Pulse Foundation with a specific focus on the Revival Project. The Revival Project gives entrepreneurs support after a professional setback and encourages a change in the way we look at entrepreneurial failure, still a taboo subject in our culture.</p>
