Juan Pena Aguirre

Juan José Peña Aguirre, a young Colombian violin prodigy, was admitted to the Universidad Mayor de Chile in 2016 under the guidance of the French violinist Dorian Lamotte. In 2020, he continued his studies at the Lausanne Conservatoire, where he studied with Julien Zufferey. Currently, he is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne with the violinist Svetlana Makarova, while also studying piano with Jorge Viladoms. He has garnered numerous prizes and earned praise for his remarkable artistic performances.

The MAD Foundation is offering financial support for the development of Juan’s career as a violinist.
